Walk from Hisarçandır to Typallia (11km/ descend 350m /ascend 610m)
Meet our tour guide and driver at the hotel. We drive to Hisarçandır village.(1 hr ) We start walking on a dirt road and follow a goat path through the Turkish pine trees(pinus brutia) and descend to river bed. It is a spectacular path decorated with wild orchids and a glimse of late roman castle on the hilltop. We can enjoy a short swim in the river before the challenging climb.The route lead us through the oak trees to Çitdibi village. We have a picnic lunch in the village. Then we ascend to Typallia.It was one of the mountainous garrison city of Lycians.T ypallia was as a rural district of Trebenna. According to surface excavations the earliest settlements date back to 3.century. Tehn we return to the village and return to hotel.
