Itinerary

Pick up from the hotel in the morning. We drive to Sagalassos first.(1.5hrs) Extensive city situated on the slopes of white mountains(Akdağ) in Aglasun town. Sagalassos was always a prosperous city throughout history on account of its fertile lands and plenty of water sources.It lives its golden age in the 2.century AD.Most of the present ruins date back that period. Thanks to archaeolgists' great work,it stands out from others with its monuments. We visit major remains with our guide's explanation then continue on to Burdur town center. After having lunch in one of the local restourants,we visit Burdur Archaeology Museum .Although it is a small size museum, Sagalassos section draws much attention to it. On the way back to Antalya we visit İnsuyu cave. It is 536m long cave opened to public in1965. There are two sections in the cave and carstic lakes surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites.
