Terms & Conditions
Tour Operator
Tailor Made Turkey tours are operated by Cicerone Travel, which holds a Group “A” Tour Operator License issued by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism (TURSAB License No: 10538).
This license guarantees that all tours are conducted in accordance with Turkish tourism regulations and provides clients with the security of an officially endorsed tour operator.
Booking
To book any of our tours, request group prices, or receive special tour offers, please contact us by email or phone.
To secure a booking, we require:

A completed booking form

A 25% deposit of the total tour cost
Once you confirm your intention to book, the booking form will be sent to you by email. Upon receipt of the completed form and deposit, a written confirmation will be issued.
The remaining balance may be paid to our representative upon arrival unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the Client
If you or any member of your group wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, Tailor Made Turkey must be informed in writing by email.
Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the tour price per person, excluding insurance and flight tickets. Insurance and flight ticket cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers.

100 days or more before departure: 10%

100–56 days before departure: 20%

55–22 days before departure: 30%

21–15 days before departure: 40%

14 days or less before departure: 50%
Cancellation by the Company
If the minimum required number of participants is not reached, Tailor Made Turkey reserves the right to cancel the tour or request a reasonable surcharge from the remaining participants.
Clients will be informed as soon as possible about any significant changes in accommodation or flight schedules. In the case of accommodation changes to a lower category, the price difference will be refunded.
Tailor Made Turkey does not cancel confirmed tours due to natural disasters or political situations unless officially advised by the relevant foreign authorities.
If a tour is cancelled due to company-related reasons, clients will be offered either:

An alternative tour, or

A full refund of all payments made.
Payment
Payments may be made by:

Credit card (Visa or Mastercard)

Bank transfer

Mail order
Payments can be made in EUR, USD, or GBP.
Credit card payments are subject to an additional 2.5% service fee to cover bank and credit card processing charges.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients arrange comprehensive travel insurance prior to the start of the tour.
If this is not possible, please contact Tailor Made Turkey or your tour leader upon arrival for available options.
Tour Leader & Guides
The tour leader plays a key role in the quality of the tour experience. For this reason, we carefully select and train experienced guides.
All cultural and adventure guides are licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and are specialists in their respective fields.
Accommodation
Accommodation standards vary depending on the region. We primarily select local, characteristic boutique hotels and pensions that reflect the authentic atmosphere of each destination.
For trekking and mountain tours, accommodation may include tents or local village houses.
Accommodation upgrades are available upon request, subject to availability and additional cost.
Transfers
Transfers are organized using buses or minibuses, depending on group size and route conditions.
On mountain and trekking tours, luggage may be transported by mule or 4x4 vehicles when necessary.
Meals
We take great care in selecting local restaurants that offer regional specialties.
During camping tours, meals are prepared by local cooks.
Lunch packs may be provided and typically include local fruits and traditional dishes.
Equipment
For walking and trekking tours, we provide all necessary camping equipment except:

Waterproof clothing

Flashlights
Participants will receive a detailed recommended equipment list at least two weeks prior to departure.
